He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Gieseck and Wilda Gieseck (Rowe). He is survived by: his wife Betty F. Gieseck; his sons, Franklin P. Gieseck and Andrew G. Gieseck; and his sisters, Ola Lynn (Bonner) of Hebron and Wanda Taylor (Gary) of Pataskala. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Pataskala, 405 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062 in Franklin's memory.
