He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Penny Townsend; his grandchildren, Christina Hastings (Aaron), Cynthia Garrett (Patrick), Victoria Smith (Christopher) and Ronald Edwin Townsend (Destiny Pelphrey); his great grandchildren, Robin, Andrew Hastings, Davin, Katelyn Garrett, Marina Pelphrey, Nyla Townsend and Matthias Smith; and his brother Frank Townsend (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends.
