He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Emswiler and Thelma Emswiler (Smoke); his wife Velma Mae Emswiler (Lawrence); his brother Kenneth Emswiler; his granddaughter Stacey Emswiler; and his brother-in-law James Laver.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Emswiler (Faye) of Columbus, Brad Emswiler (Sharon), Cathy Sims (Keith), Lowell Emswiler (Julie) and Dale Emswiler (Layla); and his sister Janice Laver of Baltimore, Ohio.. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
