He was predeceased by: his spouse Jan; his parents, William Schmidt and Coletta Hayduk (Robert); and his father-in-law Jack Goodykoontz. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Schmidt, Dan Schmidt (Marissa) and Kelsey Schmidt; his grandchildren, Addison and Jackson; his siblings, Renee Fonte, Nancy Schmidt (late Arnie Novak), Gregg Schmidt (Kathy), Bobby Hayduk and Cathy Grubbs (Andy); his sister-in-law Jill Kish (Dave); and his mother-in-law Mary Alice Goodykoontz.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Uaw Hall (5615 Chevrolet Blvd, Parma, OH 44130).
In memory of his love for his family, they ask that donations be made in lieu of flowers.
