She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Terry "Bo" Dear and Carol Dear; her siblings, Robin Smeal (Wayne) and Kristi Leppin Szendel (Sebastian); her nieces and nephews, Kirra and Mika Smeal; her godchild Kirra; her close friend Andre Surrell; and her pet Jazzy.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
