He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Michael Murdoch (Claire) and Patricia Murdoch (Mark); his grandchildren, Amy Coleman (Tim), Matthew Pringle and Janette Murdoch; his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Talia Coleman; and his brother Russell Murdoch (late Sandra).
