It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J Stralka of Parma, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy; his children, Robert Jr. (Sharon McBride), Susan Ford (Richard) and Christopher; his grandchildren, Samantha Ford, Daniel Stralka, Stephen Stralka and Eric Stralka; and his great grandchild Maxwell Ford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columbkille Church (6740 Broadview Rd, Parma, OH 44134). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44270). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
