He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julie Lynn; his children, Megan Simons (Trey), Candis VanBrackle (Adam), Brandon Bailey, Justin Bailey, James Bailey, Brittany Bailey and Emily Bailey (Julio); his parents, Ralph B. Tharpe and Betty Joan Tharpe; and his sister Peggy Ann Durman. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren.
