She was predeceased by: her parents, Gawrill Naliwaiko and Olga Naliwaiko. She is survived by: her spouse Lou Nimylowycz; her sons, Jason Gerda (Elizabeth Joseph) and David Gerda (Christine); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Xavier, Natalia, Jakiv, Olivia and Lucia.

Nina had a passion for dancing and donated her time as a line dancing instructor.
