He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Michelle Merkosky (Zack), Michael Rydzewski Jr. (Denise) and Suzanne Rydzewski; his stepchildren, David Puls (Elisa) and Eileen Panza; his grandchildren, Zachary (Jessica), Jessica, Darren Merkosky (Emily), Michael, Mathew Rydzewski, Julia Namoski (David), Rachel Dezso (Bob), Derrick Ray (Jennifer), David Puls and Nicholas Panza; his great grandchildren, Barrett, Jett, Quinn and Wyatt; and his siblings, Rose Wojton (Denny), Joseph Rydzewski, Elaine Baldridge and Mitch Rydzewski (Diane).
