He was predeceased by: his wife June; his parents, Leo Szymczak and Nora Szymczak; and his sister Eleanor Kopowski. He is survived by: his children, Gail Meltzer, Bob Sims (Terry), Mark Sims (Linda) and Kim Giaimo (Bill).
