She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Straus and Elizabeth Straus; her husband Rev. Douglas; her son Nathaniel; and her brother Edward Straus.

She is survived by: her children, Matthew (Sara), Alexander (Ashly), Gabriel (Alyssa), Zachary, Andrew, Lukas and Rosemary; her grandchildren, Olivia, Benjamin, Elliott, Nora, Isaac, Penelope, Philomena and Nathaniel; her nephew Joshua Bewley; and her niece Gwendolyn McAleese.
