She was predeceased by: her mother Mina Garai; and her father-in-law Pasupati Sadhukhan. She is survived by: her father Sanat Kumar Garai; her husband Debashis Sadhukhan; her daughters, Deboshri Sadhukhan, Joyoshri Sadhukhan and Debjoyee Sadhukhan; her brother Sandip Garai (Swati Garai); and her mother-in-law Parbati Sadhukhan.
