He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Paula M.; his children, John P. (Lisa) and Julieanne M. Embry (David); his grandson Connor Ulas; and his siblings, John C. Ulas and Jerolyn Sweeny.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (7367 York Rd, Parma, OH 44130). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

“Dear John and the Ulas Family: My most heartfelt condolences to all of you on the loss of your father, husband and grandfather. Jimmy was a wonderful and loyal friend. He was a great worker and a loyal employee of the Parma school district. He taught me how to drink custodial coffee and now he is a peace with his friend Dennis. I will be praying for him and only wish that you dwell on good memories about your dad. May God Bless all of you at this time. Jack Roberts”
