He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Dillon and Nelson Vasbinder; and his brother Bill Vasbinder (Judith Weller) of Jefferson, LA. He is survived by: his daughter Kelli Gilland of New Philadelphia; his granddaughters, Sami Messerle (Michael) of New Orleans, LA and Jessica Bayham (Russell) of Baton Rouge, LA.; his great grandchildren, Winifred and Oliver; his nephew Bert Vasbinder of New Orleans, LA.; his friend Jeanne Gelinas of Naples, FL; and his pet Charlie.
