He was loved and cherished by many people including: his girlfriend Kimberly Auten; his children, Scott, Lauren, Carolanne, Jimmy, Mackenzie Ortiz (Jaxxon), Joey and Justin; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Jimmy and Lyla; and his sisters, Rochelle, Rhonda and Kathy.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorial contribution may be made in Jim's name to help with funeral costs and will be greatly appreciated by his family.
