She was predeceased by: her parents, Hryhroij Samijlenko and Sofia Samijlenko; and her brother Walter (Nina). She is survived by: her husband Walter Dolbin; her children, Victor (Andrea), Katia (Terry) and Nick (Kim); and her brother George (Martha).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Helen's name to the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church "Dome Fund".
