He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his son Colin (Kimberley); his grandchildren, Aidan, Liam, Caroline, Ronan, Dermot and Colin; his siblings, Rose Hendron (Joe), Eileen Smith (late Louis), Alex and Anne Mulligan (late Pete); his sister-in-law Martha Carey (late Danny); and his cousins, John Heaney and Sean McCrory.
