He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Sara Mae Vavases. He is survived by: his children, Valerie Myers (Jonathon), Wendy Barbeau (Craig) and Michael Vavases; and his siblings, John Vavases, Tim Scott, Victoria Thornton (Henry), Deborah Ferenci (Jack), Rebecca Donnelly (Gerry) and Tammy Levine (Tim). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
