He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benya and Suzanne Benya; and his siblings, John Benya and Millie Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Benya; his stepmother Spasija Benya; his children, Suzanne Gregory (John), Michael (Suzanne), Jonathan (Susan) and Mark Benya; and his grandchildren, Megan, Sarah Gregory, Nathan and Katharine Benya (Ben). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and friends.
