He was predeceased by: his wife Maggie; his parents, Alfred and Katharine; and his siblings, Fred, Albert and Martha Devorak.
He is survived by: his son Kurt (Elaine); his grandchildren, Chad and Holly; his nieces and nephews, Bob, Ken, Kathy, Gary, Deanne, SueAnn, Tim, Sharon and Denise; and his friend Carl.
Bernie was a faithful and devoted member of Southwest Community Baptist for many years, and dedicated his time and talents to doing work at the church and was also responsible for donating the money needed for supplies and then building the church's brick sign out in front.
