It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. MacKovjak of Parma, Ohio, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara A. MacKovjak to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her son Craig Mackovjak (Deanna); her husband Robert A. Mackovjak; her parents, Bertha Bodnar and John Bodnar; and her brothers, Dr. Julius Bodnar (Fran) and Johnny Bodnar.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Hocking (Bill), Lori Waite (Marc), Rob Mackovjak (Sue) and Jennifer Mackovjak (Gregory); her sisters, Elizabeth Graef (late John) and Marguerite Butler; her grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Allison (Jeff), Trevor (Rachel), Halle (Corbin), Christopher, Claire, Mollie (Josh), Katie (Max), Grace (Jared), Annie, Morgan (Cory), Connor (Hayley), Mason and Quin; and her great grandchildren, Colin, Griffin, Beckham, Rollie, Beau, Liesl, Sophie, Anna, Lyla and Ellis.

She truly embodied and lived by these words every day of her life and as such, her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the West Side Catholic Center, 3135 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 or Poor Clares Monastery, 3501 Rocky River Drive, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.
