We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 91, Andrew A. Kolbus (Parma, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kolbus and Frances Kolbus; his wife Eve; his sister Marian Geroski (Steve); his nieces and nephews, Steven, Lynn Swartzwelder (David) and Andy; his great-nephew Andrew J. Kolbus; and his nephew Gregory Kolbus.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Burris (Thomas Jackson), Denise Shimandle (Scott) and Alex Kolbus; his grandchildren, Chrissy Utt (Cody), Jacki Maswary (Jeremy), Rachel Kilgore (Nate), Drew David Kolbus (Brittany), Michael Burris (Jim Summers), Jessica Kolbus, Patrick Burris (Cristina), Thomas Shimandle, Max Kolbus (Jen) and Anthony Shimandle; his great grandchildren, Julia, Evan, Ava Utt, Charlotte, Natalie Kilgore, Noah, Sophie Maswary, Catherine and Andrew S. Kolbus; his nephew Matthew Geroski (Michelle); his nieces, Catherine Pozzuto (Joe) and Cyndi Geroski; and also Lyn Kolbus.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Busch Funeral Home (7501 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Colette Catholic Church (330 W 130th St, Brunswick, OH 44212).
