He was predeceased by: his parents, Albion Thompson and Essie Thompson; his wife Lois Soika; his son-in-law Al Schmidt; and his siblings, Stanley, Fred, Jackie Siciliano, Abbie Sue Valentino and Louise Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Mize (Roger), Mary Zamiska (Joe), Nancy Milligan (Gary), Tom (Sharon), Amy Barnhart (Jim) and Ann Schmidt. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
