He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy Messina; and his wife Rose Sulik. He is survived by: his children, Sam C. Messina (Maryann), Lorraine Wodoslawsky (Ted) and Russell Messina (Lori); and his granddaughters, Leah Bernhofer (Josh) and Ava Wodoslawsky. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter, and his nephews.
