He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. and Jane E.; and his brother Donald Hagenberger. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Deborah Machutas (John), Eva Hadzima and David Hagenberger (Justyna); his stepdaughters, Kathleen Caldwell and Cheryl Bator (Frank); and his grandchildren, Frankie III, Cody, Devin, Kyle, Elizabeth, Adam and Sam.
