She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Gene D. Horton; her daughters, Linda Nekl (late James) and Lisa Horton-Wolfe (Michael); and her grandson David Gene Nekl (Kristen).

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zabor Funeral Home (5680 Pearl Rd, Parma, OH 44129). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
