He was predeceased by: his parents, Athanasios and Styliani (Stefanidis); and his brother Stefos. He is survived by: his wife Dea (Cappas); his children, Arthur (Susan), George Karas (Judy) and Nitsa McClatchey (Jay); his grandchildren, Chris, Nicholas, Christopher, Alexandra Karas and Maria McClatchey; and his siblings, Dina, Bessie and Sotere (Sophie).
