It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bennett of Parkman, Ohio, born in Jellico, Tennessee, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe York and Maggie York; her former husband Ed Jr.; her daughter Teresa Gail Kapis (Smith); her grandson Aaron Smith; and her siblings, Mary Williams, Ruby Smiddy, Geneva Webb and Steven "S. G.".
She is survived by: her father-in-law Ed Jr.; her husband Don Bennett; her son Eddie Rutherford (Sue) of Yulee; her stepdaughter Brenda McGee (Bill) of Troy Township; her grandchildren, David Smith, Christopher Smith (Ellen), Gerald Rutherford (Christine) and Krystal Hawkins (T. J.); her stepgranddaughters, Sara Carnes (Russ), Katie McGee and Emily Osmeloski; and her sister Elizabeth "Mildred" Marker of Huntsburg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Huntsburg Baptist Church.
