He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sluss and Gladys Sluss (Ake); his sister Ethel Fimple; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Oliver Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Sluss (Dourm); his children, Lauri Phillips (Randy) of Annapolis, MD, Kenneth Sluss (Gladys) of Pickerington and Steve Sluss (Brenda) of Paris; his sister Carol Singer (Richard); his grandchildren, Samuel Sluss (Lauren), Julie Layman (Jonathan), Chad Phillips (Stephanie), Amber Phillips, Emily Thompson (Jason) and John Sluss; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Benjamin Phillips, Carson, Austin Layman, Owen, Alaina, Allen Sluss and Henry Thompson; and his caregivers, Debbie Durst, Michelle Green, Laney Wickersham, Sherry Whitacre, Rhonda Arkenburgh, Marianne Bentfield, Judy Knoch, Morgan Berry and Marissa Winkler.
