He was predeceased by: his parents, Dit Evans and Harriett Evans (McNew); his son Jeff Evans; his grandson Brady Evans; and his siblings, Herman, Bob, Edna, Dit Jr., Rosie, Bill, Roscoe, Lee, Beatrice and Delsia.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela L. Rettig; his sons, Scott Evans of Ada, Mike Evans (Jill) of Brookville, Rosco Evans (Mary) of Elkton, KY, James Evans of Wapakoneta and Jake Ritchey (Amanda) of Pandora; his daughter-in-law Kaylene Evans of Ada; and his siblings, Buster Evans (Rosie) of Alger, Elsie Landis of West Virginia, Jewel Marshall (Haulie) of Ada, Dell Wayne Boruff (Donnie) of Spencerville and Cindy Rexrode (E. B.) of Virginia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Attendance will be restricted at the funeral and visitation based on space to accommodate social distancing requirements.
