He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Basinger and Dorothy Basinger (Clymer); his brothers, Wayne Basinger and Dale Basinger; and his brother-in-law Arthur Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret L. Basinger of Pandora; his children, Marrette Borsani (John) of North Baltimore, Ohio and Scott Basinger (Katherine) of Pandora; his granddaughters, Brittany Borsani, Jessica Borsani Powell (Luke) and Laura Basinger; and his sister Sharleen Olson of Bluffton.
