He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Painter and Alice B. Painter (Nau); his brother Lynn E. Painter; his daughter Roberta J. Hein; his grandchildren, Jonathon D. Painter, Jennifer Shaw and BJ McDonald; and his sons-in-law, Mick Stahler and Robert McDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Painter (Donna) of Waynesville, OH, Deborah Miracle of Pandora, OH, Barbara Stahler of Findlay, OH and Jeffrey Painter of Findlay; his son-in-law Mark Hein of Millersport, OH; and his brother Derol R. Painter (Carol). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many "adopted" family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's honor can be made to Pandora UMC or Bluffton Senior Center.
