She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Lester Joseph and Ruby Joseph (Steele); her daughter Julie Schmidt; her daughter-in-law Cindy Schmidt (Mike); and her siblings, Charles Joseph, Joel Joseph, Nancy Watts and Sandra Joseph.
She is survived by: her husband Don H. Schmidt; and her children, Tom Schmidt of Bluffton, Jane McCullough (Tom) of Pandora, Mike Schmidt of Findlay, Judy Miller (Gary) of Pandora and Jodi Wilson (Steve) of Delaware, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
