He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hermiller and Mary Hermiller (Rosenbauer); his former wife Dolores Hermiller (Halker); his wife Marjorie Trenkamp Hermiller (Greulich); his daughter Christine Hermiller; his son-in-law Dennis Warren; and his siblings, Arthur Hermiller, Carl Hermiller, Dennis Hermiller, Doris Liebrecht, Genevieve Rosengarten, Delores Schimmoeller, Mary Ann Hermiller, Joyce Hermiller, Wilford Hermiller, Richard Hermiller and Harold Hermiller.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Hohenbrink (Don) of Bluffton, Sue Recker (Steve) of Mt. Cory, Jane Warren of Columbus Grove, Larry Hermiller (Vicki) of Pandora, Tom Hermiller (Ann) of Lima, Jerry Trenkamp of Lima, Craig Trenkamp (Mary) of Cridersville, Tim Trenkamp (Gina) of North Carolina, Carla Visser of Orlando, Ron Trenkamp (Chris) of Cincinnati and John Trenkamp (Tami) of Lima; and his siblings, John Hermiller (Mary Ann) of Glandorf, Florence Schroeder of Kalida, Margaret Schimmoeller of Kalida and Donna Utrup of Glandorf. He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton Chapel (239 S Main St, Bluffton, OH 45817). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 5:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (160 N Spring St, Bluffton, OH 45817). A burial will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (11234 Rd R, Columbus Grove, OH 45830).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
