He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Burry and B. Eileen Burry (Fralick); his sisters, Carol Emerson and Janice Burry; his stepfather Norbert Wiechart; and his stepsister Nancy Kill.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ann Schaffner; his wife Lana Burry of Pandora; his daughters, Kim Reese (Dave) of Pandora and Kris Reed (Steve) of Van Wert; his stepdaughter Lesley Bodemann (Duncan Kendall) of Lexington, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Amber Lee (Derrick), Anna Reese, Matthew Bidlack and Nathan Bidlack; his great grandchildren, Cora and Kyler Lee; and his nieces and nephews, Rob Emerson, Lisa Emerson, Jodi Parker and Dave Emerson. He is also survived by five great nieces/nephews.
