He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sopchak and Barbara Sopchak (Petrush); his wife Arlene Sopchak (Barber); and his siblings, Charlie Ballay, Frank Ballay, John Ballay and Margaret Samko.
He is survived by: his children, Cammie Berger (Kevin) and William Sopchak Jr. (Linda); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Kara, Kent Berger, Adam, Joshua and Matthew Sopchak; and his sister Barbara Balzer (John).
