He was predeceased by: his parents, Lajos Takács and Erzsébet Takács (Marakovits); and his wife Olga E. Takacs. He is survived by: his children, Steven L. Takacs, Jr., Zoltan Takacs (Starla) and Susanne Schuster (Robert); his brother Gustave Takacs; his grandchildren, Alexis Rinehart (Stephen), Courtney Schuster, Corbin Schuster (Amanda McGill), Taylor Schuster (Melanie), Zachary Takacs, Chloe Takacs and Drew Takacs; his great grandchildren, Joseph Redden Jr., Lilliana Rinehart, Vander Rinehart and Owen McGill; and his brother-in-law Michael Yakli (Helen).
