He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomo Derežić and Julijana Derežić (Boros). He is survived by: his wife Vesna; his children, Adriana Kučinić (Pave), Tomislav Derežić (Randi) and Marina Musa (Željko); his grandchildren, Elena and Mijo Kučinić; his daughters, Nora and Olivia Derežić; his siblings, John (Maria), Stephanie Sutter (John), Joseph, Frank (Rosie), Branko (Sharon), Danijel (Aimee) and Andrija (Chrissy); and his brother-in-law John Nekić (Keri). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Croatian Church (1369 E 40th St, Cleveland, OH 44103).
