Ronald W. Ames Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald W. Ames of Painesville, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Ames, Sr. (Bob); his grandparents, Carmelita (Carmie) and James Arp (Jay); and his great-grandparent Lee Bertone. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Gavelda (Fairport) of Painesville; and his brothers, Robert L. Ames, Jr. (Louie) of West Cleveland, Stephen Ames of Ashburn and Lawrence Ames (Larry) of Ashland. He is also survived by six nephews and a niece.

Because of Covid restrictions, a private reception was held in Painesville in November.
