He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Holpit (Lawrence); and his parents, Melvin Holmes and Mary Holmes (Kish). He is survived by: his son Allen (Sandy); his grandson Keith (Leah); and his siblings-in-law, Marjorie Keener (Doug) and Kenneth Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
