He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis Ostrom (Kenny); his granddaughters, Adelle and Claire; his daughter Theresa Leatherman (John); and his grandchildren, Mariel Van Lehn (Derek) and Josh.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holden Arboretum or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
