It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Donald Gilkerson in Painesville, Ohio, born in Prichard, West Virginia, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Henry Gilkerson; his aunt Olive Merideth; his son Tim Gilkerson (Brenda); his brothers, Morris and Virgil Gilkerson; his grandson Christopher Gilkerson; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Marks (Ed), Barb Johnson, Jack, Roger Geiger, Buck Johnson, Dan Shannon and Clark Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Gilkerson (Geiger); his children, Ryan Gilkerson (Natalie Blake) and Penny Bartlett (Jeff); his grandsons, Jayden Gilkerson and Timmy Gilkerson; his siblings, Pat Gilkerson (Sandy), Gene Stevens, Mary June Shannon, Hazel Meenach (Kenneth), Kay Lemons (Jimmy) and Flora Leigh Gilbert; and his brother-in-law Joseph Geiger Sr. (Marsha).
