He is survived by: his children, Jeffery D. Shirer (Suni), Kathy Shearer (Alan), Diane Hertel, Kim Collins (Clyde) and Vicki Shirer; his grandchildren, Vicky Mapes (Bob), Jeff Collins (Mandy), Nathan Collins, Stacie Baker (Dave), Rochelle Diggs (Jason), Christina Turner, Michael Turner, Katherine Fleenor (James), Wendy Kunash, Jean Shirer and Jessye Shearer; his great grandchildren, Anna Marie Nevison (Brandon), Julianna Pollack, Isabella Pollack, Eiijah Diggs, Tyler Diggs, Rowan Collins, Peter Collins, Lucy Collins, Leela Collins, Amalita Collins, Kya Kunash, Katrina Kunash and Daniel Rago; and his sister Arlene Mayock.
