He was predeceased by: his father Adolph Fredrick Perry; and his brother Ralph Perry. He is survived by: his close friend Sheryl Ann Perry (Thomas); his children, Amy Svoboda (John), Tara DeFelice (David) and Todd Perry (Sarah); his grandchildren, Cody, Andrew Svoboda, Preston DeFelice, Luke and Emily Perry; his brother-in-law Kim Thomas (Eva); and his brother Don Perry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
