She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Brokaw and Paul Brokaw; and her brother Paul "Butch" Brokaw. She is survived by: her close friend Myrna; her husband Werner Heidemann; her children, Tommy Clifford (Lynn), Nicole Kelley (Tim) and Melissa Heidemann; her grandchildren, Cassidy, Colin, Tara, Willow, Matt, Adam, Alena, Samantha, Ryan and Caitlin; and her siblings, Bill Brokaw and Faith Brokaw Marzi.
