He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Robert Irvine and Frank Burger. He is survived by: his parents, Carol A. Burger (Norm Milavec) and John P. Burger (Carmen Pomares); his siblings, Michele L. Iams (Brian), Shane Burger, Amy Milavec and Norman Milavec (Jamie); his stepbrothers, Armando and Eduardo Rivera; his nieces and nephews, Liam, Declan, Marley, Mason, Ana, Linnea and Emma; his grandparents, Glenda Irvine and Celine Burger; and his aunts and uncles, Pat Burton, Robin Spooner (David), Kim Burke (Steve), Frank Burger, Jeff Burger (Coleen), Julie Semega, Cindy Clark (Ray), Bridget Nolan (Vic) and Elaine Harkless.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the Lakeland Community College Welding Program, Hope Over Heroin, or the Music Therapy Program at the Willoughby Fine Arts Association.
