He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Barty (Ferguson); his sister Marie Brown (Bill); his children, Dan Asuma, Johnna Barty-McMillan (Brian Wilson), Michelle Pete (Phil), Lisa Kowalczyk (Jim Nebraski), Jessica Asuma-Barty (Derrick Brown) and Marissa Asuma-Barty (Jordan Perkins); his parents, Ernie Barty and Marie Barty; his brother Ernie Barty Jr.; his daughter Brenda Webb (Kirkpatrick); and his grandson Todd Betti. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
