He is survived by: his mother Thelma Bernice Alston; his sisters, Thelma M. Alston, Charlean Alston, Carlean Thompson, Hazel L. Alston-Bey and Mary Jefferies; and his children, Ellenann Aikens (Dennis Craig), Terry Gibson, John Evans Gibson (Jacqueline), Angela Tamala Alston, Brandon Lee Gibson (Alexandra) and Cory Alston (Samantha). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, neighbors, family and friends.
