With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Sharp (Painesville, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Sharp (Stewart); his brother Bruce Myers; and his nephew Adam Singleton. He is survived by: his parent Jerry, Sr. Sharp; his wife Rose Sharp (Rogan); his children, Ed Sharp (Crystal), Alisha Sharp (Nick Burnett), Eric Sharp (Raven), Rachel Kajfez (Matt) and Lindsey Louis (Josh Chambers); his sister Julie McNamara (Mike); and his grandchildren, Preston, Elliott, Krystian, Kaleb, Faith, Hayden, Daniel, Hunter, Reagan, Andrew and Joey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rose Sharp who will start a scholarship for youth football players in memory of Jay (Sharp Heart Award) and/or other community based projects in Jay's honor.
